Nor West Contracting Ltd was established in 2012 after recognising a need for general civil, earthworks and land development contractors for the Canterbury earthquake rebuild, to help re-establish a thriving city and surrounding residential and commercial suburbs. Nor West has since grown considerably as they have proven to be a strong, reliable and user-friendly contractor within the wider Canterbury region and throughout New Zealand.

Working with local Iwi and key delivery partners, Nor West now has branches across the North and South Island, operating out of Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, and Central Otago. Utilising our suitably proven, reputable subcontractors and permanent staff totaling 120 plus spread over five main departments, Nor West can cover most aspects of any contract while maintaining our management commitment and efficiency-driven focus.
